We will be working on our own artwork plus collaborating together to concept and create artwork that engages in the central issues of our time. Below are some photos of previous voyages, and for more information the website link is www.thearcticcircle.org :)))))) Exactly 441 days until departure.

"CO-OP 28" by Keri Rosebraugh

The signage I created for Co-op 28 Boutique is completed and installed! Marci Siegel did a great job designing it, and her guys worked hard in sealing and putting it up. Here's a short video that Mason Howard shot of the project. Music by Thom Rotella
Teamwork!!!

Also, here are a couple of photos of the finished sign as well as mid project.....

Co-op 28 signage made of recycled trash is almost complete!!!!!!!!!

YAY! Here are a few photos of the sign I am creating for the Co-op 28 boutique in Los Feliz.
It is nearly complete and the actual installation should be up by the end of this week! It is made entirely from found garbage, then glued onto boards with an eco friendly glue/caulking called, "Big Stretch." I purchased an electric caulking gun at Home Depot (who knew they existed?) and it saved my wrist from hours of soreness :)
There are 5 boards total - each 4 feet by 8 feet. The sign when put together is 20 feet wide by 8 feet tall. Now my neighbors don't have to look at me with a raised eyebrow anymore, as I rummage through their blue bins......I will post more photos and have a video up of the whole project soon.

Co-op 28 Signage Project

Anybody have any light turquoise trash out there they can donate??? I am creating a 20 ft x 8 ft sign for a great little boutique in Los Feliz on Vermont Blvd, called Co-op 28. It will be made entirely our of trash and recycled materials. Super fun!!! Below are a couple of pictures -I am just beginning to glue the trash on as you can see. Also is a photo of the design I have to go by. I will post more photos as it progresses. Be on the lookout for light turquoise garbage please!!! (If you are in the Los Angeles area :) I'd be sooooo appreciative!
Cheers!

Mural Entirely Made Out Of Trash

I am super psyched about a job I have right now creating a 10 ft by 14 ft mural down in Venice Beach - it will be created entirely out of TRASH. As in garbage. Smelly, but fun :) The great thing is that it is a replica of a poster advertising a new documentary that is premiering live on Facebook, September 20th, about cleaning up the world's beaches. Hence, the use of trash..... I was fortunate enough to get the job through a good friend of mine who owns the Eco-Logical Gallery of Los Angeles, Peter Schulberg - he and I and a few others will be installing the mural and working on it onsite August 29-Sept 1, so come on down and visit us!
Windward Circle, across from the Bank of America, on the brick wall of the surf shop. Here are a few pictures of how it's going so far. Been doing a TON of collecting, cutting, and sorting trash...a HUGE thanks for friends and organizations helping us out collecting the garbage: Sustain L.A., and Trash for Teaching, especially.
